Charlie Cox said he wants Daredevil to appear in Deadpool 3 next. Marvel Cinematic Universe viewers were left wondering when and where the low-level heroes would next appear when Netflix decided to terminate the Defenders Saga series. Fortunately, viewers didn’t have to wait long, as they were delighted in seeing Cox return as the Man Without Fear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The character’s adventures will continue in a brand-new Disney+ series dubbed Daredevil: Born Again, which is slated to be a soft reboot and is anticipated to debut somewhere in 2024.
Cox himself wants to see more of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) incorporated into the series given the hype around it. Deadpool 3 is the Marvel project he would most like to be a part of, according to an interview he gave at the German Comic-Con Winter Edition (via the Twitter account Deadpool Updates). Although both characters are dark, the selection seems a little unusual because Deadpool has a much lighter personality and temperament. The new Daredevil: Born Again series, according to Cox, won’t have the same tone as previous installments, though. The following is his comment:
I think because of the tone of our show, I think that there’s a place for Daredevil to show up in Deadpool. It would be really cool.
Would Deadpool and Daredevil Work Well Together?

As Daredevil in the television series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Cox made a comeback after his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home wearing a brand-new outfit. He dated the series’ title character after they were paired together. Although he made a welcome return, viewers noticed that the character was portrayed in a much more jovial manner than in his previous Netflix series debut, cracking jokes and engaging in hilarious situations. It looks that this will continue in the upcoming program based on Cox’s remarks.
Although there was some controversy about the humor-infused Daredevil, Deadpool is actually the finest fit for this character transformation. Although Daredevil was portrayed on Netflix in a grim manner, there was little room for supernatural ties even if they had included Daredevil in the MCU canon. His new demeanor might actually mesh nicely with the sardonic humor of the Merc with a Mouth now that Disney is in charge of the character and has given him a funny depth. Seeing the characters collaborate could also inspire clever meta-jokes that only Deadpool could deliver.
Despite what Cox might wish, there don’t seem to be any indications that Daredevil will be in the upcoming Deadpool movie right now. There is no way of knowing what team-ups and crossover movies Marvel Studios are planning given the MCU’s growth and the continuous introduction of new characters. The present focus of Deadpool 3 is on the reunification of the well-known anti-hero with Wolverine, and at this time, audiences are most excited to see this pairing.
