Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will expand on the first movie and take the Spider-Verse concept farther than it has ever been on the big screen with Miles facing the interdimensional portal-creating villain The Spot (voiced by Jason Schwartzman). Across the Spider-Verse will feature an even larger cast of spider-powered heroes than the original movie, introducing viewers to a number of well-known spider-folk from across the page, screen, and video games. This is because general viewers are now very familiar with the concept of the multiverse in both animation and live-action.
