Daredevil will only be in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law for one episode. Tatiana Maslany plays Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in the legal action comedy. She is tasked with representing superhumans in court, including Emil Blonsky/Abomination (Tim Roth) and Wong (Benedict Wong). Charlie Cox will appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, complete with a brand-new outfit, according to promotional materials.
Cox first played the blind hero in the Netflix-distributed series Daredevil, which debuted in 2015 and lasted three seasons before being canceled. Cox reprised his role as Murdock in a startling cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, despite the character’s uncertain future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After he appeared, Daredevil was added to Disney+’s library, and it was revealed that Cox would play the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen in the upcoming 18-episode television series, Daredevil: Born Again. Although it isn’t as significant as some might have hoped, audiences are still anticipating his role in She-Hulk.
Deadline spoke with Cox at the D23 Expo, where he confirmed that Daredevil will only appear in one episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The actor called their on-screen chemistry “really good” and praised Maslany for her performance. He referred to the episode as “special,” and admits he hasn’t seen it yet, but can’t wait to. Read what Cox said below.
“Tatiana is amazing. I absolutely love her. She’s such a talented actor. I’ve wanted to work with her for years. To get this opportunity to work with her, but as these characters, was really fun. I can’t wait to see the episode that we have together because my feeling is that the chemistry we have together is really good. They’re both lawyers. To see those characters interact is really fun. I think it’s a really special episode.”

Many viewers will likely be disappointed by Cox’s admission that Daredevil will only appear in one episode because they have been eagerly awaiting the character’s official MCU debut. His return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law appears to be somewhat significant, despite being brief, based on Cox’s enthusiastic remarks. Fans can only speculate as to the true nature of the two heroes’ partnership because key information about why Murdock will team up with Walters has been withheld from the public.
Murdock spent most of his time in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen while playing Daredevil. Meeting Walters in California is far outside of his usual sphere of influence. It’s likely that the defense attorney has traveled to see Walters for a case given that Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) has received the majority of Murdock’s prior criminal justice efforts. He might be asked to represent Walters in a legal battle with Titania (Jameela Jamil) over She-Hulk’s trademark, or Murdock might need She-Hulk’s help in relation to Fisk’s activities outside of the state of New York. It’s possible that the upcoming Daredevil episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will introduce the new Disney+ series because Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), a character who also appears in the Kingpin and Daredevil-starring series Echo, is also planning to leave New York state.
